Fun in the sun with the family: A Good Friday drive to SLO: food and follies in slotown, Avila Beach, a cocktail or two with Doug Bolt and family in Atascadero, Easter Mass at the Mission - always impactful, followed by lunch on the creek and a bit of shopping...time to head to Disneyland. A clear freeway to the southland Easter afternoon, punctuated by a brief stop in Solvang for some post-lent ice cream (ya!), arriving in Anaheim in time to hit Downtown Disney for the obvious including dinner at Rainforest Cafe. Now comes the three-day Disney marathon between DL and CA Adventures - exhausting but worth it...Off to Mark Mitchell's for a splendid dinner and "catch up" including a few DL stories to get Lilly pumped for her upcoming BDay gig in the magic kingdom. Now to make time to get the pictures organized. Thinking back on the week, now with the knowledge of my nephew's MD, gives the trip a little different color...
